Find hospitals and clinics with Chinese, English and other language support by region.
Most hospitals in Japan operate in Japanese, and places with Chinese support are limited. Every listing here explicitly offers Chinese (or English, Vietnamese, etc.) support — a Chinese-speaking doctor or a medical interpreter.
Use the "Region" list on the left to pick your city (e.g. Osaka, Tokyo), then filter by language and specialty on the region page. You can also search by hospital name or department.
It is best to call or check the official website first. Some clinics require appointments — especially specialties like Ob/Gyn or dental — and language-support hours may also need confirming in advance.
Usually your Residence Card and health insurance card (kokuho or shaho). With insurance your out-of-pocket share is typically 30%; without it you pay the full amount, which is more expensive.
Listings are curated by hand and each shows the month it was last updated. Supported languages and hours can change, so please confirm with the hospital by phone or website before visiting — and let us know if anything is wrong.
Not sure which hospital to visit, or need phone interpretation? These multilingual services can help.
